How long does the claim process last?

Time Limits:

There are different time limits within which you must begin legal action in a personal injury claim. With Asbestos related personal injuries, this is a three years from the point of diagnoses. You should therefore speak to a solicitor as soon as possible after your diagnoses.

This means that court proceedings must be issued within three years of your diagnoses. In some cases, a court may extend the time limit.

How long will a personal injury claim take to settle?

Personal injury cases can generally be settled within 12 months. There are fixed procedures set out for Asbestos cases to get them settled quickly through master Whitticker in London.

For Mesothelioma cases, interim payments can be given within 3 months and most cases will settle within 6 months
